Mission Statement

Through our volunteer program we hope to connect individuals who desire to serve in the community with the opportunities that are available. HELENS HOPE CHEST helps foster children with their basic needs, giving children a similar experience of shopping in a consignment store. although the clothing is gently used, children in foster care are given the opportunity to select styles and colors they like. 16 individual rooms accommodate the basic needs of infants, toddlers, children, teens and young adults transitioning out of foster care. MESA VETERANS RESOURCE CENTER provides comprehensive support services to veterans and their families. The MVRC provides resources and referrals to assist in various areas including benefits claims, employment, mental health, and homelessness.

Helens Hope Chest is opened Mon - Fri 8 -5 with the occasional Saturday. Our volunteers must respect the privacy of these delicate children.
We are looking for caring, reliable volunteers willing to commit to at least a year of service a minimum of 4 hours per week or more.

Mesa Veterans Resource Center is open Mon - Fri 8-4. We are looking for ongoing volunteers that can commit at least an hour a month.

They really care about other people especially children. They raise money for all of the other non profits in town so that they to can help within the Mesa community. Really a nice group to volunteer with
