The Zoo shall strive to be acknowledged as a quality community resource for the benefit of people of all ages throughout Central Florida.

Description

Situated within a natural wetland, along the shores of Lake Monroe, the Central Florida Zoo is a half day family adventure with something for everyone. With more than 350 animals, and an assortment of gardens and plantings, guests will surely get to explore, learn and be inspired to protect wildlife & wild places. Interactive animal experiences include keeper chats, Barnyard Buddies petting zoo, giraffe feedings and a rhino encounter. Cool off in the splash pad, visit our reptiles in the Zoo’s Herpetarium, learn more about native species at our Florida black bear habitat and Bear Awareness Exhibit, enjoy lunch at our on-site concessions provided by Sonny’s BBQ, and stop by the ZOOfari Gift Shop for a souvenir to remember your visit. After going wild in the Zoo, you can take to the trees, and challenge your body and mind, at Seminole Aerial Adventures. We can’t wait for you to see and do the Central Florida Zoo! www.centralfloridazoo.org
