Schedule: Mondays and Wednesdays: 12:30 PM - 4 PM possibly Fridays 10 AM - 3 PM POSITION DESCRIPTION: During the summer (now until August 31, 2023) we are looking for someone who is willing and able to safely transport young people in 15-passenger vans to and from service-learning projects (Mon/Weds, 12:30PM - 4PM), possible employer engagements/tours and field trips (Fri from 10am - 3pm). Primary Responsibilities: Transport youth aged 15 - 24 in a 15 passenger vans to and from service-learning projects (Mon/Weds, 12:30PM - 4PM) and possible employer engagements/tours and field trips (Fri from 10am - 3pm). Possible assistance in the Everett Community College (EvCC) Composite class that you are taking July and August. Role Requirements & Abilities: * Must be at least 21 years of age * Must have a clean driving record * Must provide a copy of driving abstract from DOL * Must pass a background check * Must have a valid WA state driver license * Must be comfortable with teenagers, be okay with loud noises at times and open to assisting with soft skills workshop

This class is for Evergreen Goodwill employees only. Position Description: Support Job Training instructors by providing an extra set of hands in the classroom. Assist with preparing the classroom and class materials, starting/ending class in a timely manner, helping with group activities, working with students who need extra guidance, and providing examples to students as needed. Help with one or both classes is appreciated. Primary Responsibilities: Preparatory work before/after class: making copies and setting up classroom activities Provide guidance and support to students working in small groups Participate in classroom activities and assist individual students during lessons and exercises Administrative tasks as needed Other activities as needed Reports to: Supervisor determined during interview process Role Requirements & Abilities: Interest in working in a classroom setting with adult learners; previous experience teaching or tutoring valued but not required Experience working with diverse individuals with multiple barriers. Reliable, punctual and consistent. Patient, understanding, and caring. Strong listening skills Essential Physical Abilities: Able to safely lift/push/pull up to 10 lbs., grasp, handle, finger and manipulate items; perform repetitive fine motor functions with fingers, wrists and arms. Able to traverse a wide variety of physical environments without assistance including uneven surfaces and stairs. Able to communicate with others effectively, verbally and in writing; including those who have limited English skills, large groups and small groups and individuals. Able to use standard office equipment without assistance. Working Environment/Conditions: Classroom setting; moderate noise level.

During the School year, (Sept thru June) there will opportunities for volunteers to drive and participate in youth events in Saturday meetings between 10am and 4pm. Primary Responsibilities: Transport youth aged 15 - 24 in a 15 passenger vans to and from service-learning projects (Tues/Thurs from 1pm - 3pm) employer engagements/tours and field trips (Fri from 10am - 3pm). Tutoring sessions will occur outside of class time at a specified location within a Job Training & Education Center. Assist students with assigned coursework to increase student’s comprehension.
