Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia (Habitat NOVA) rallies our community together to help families build strength, stability, and self-reliance to create better lives for themselves and their children. Habitat's unique approach to low-cost home ownership relies on owner sweat equity, donor generosity, volunteer labor and interest-free mortgage.
Description
Since 1990, Habitat for Humanity has built or renovated 50 homes for familes in need in Arlington, Alexandria, and Fairfax County. We plan to build on this success by building our next 50 homes in the next five years.

I have always wanted to volunteer fior auch a good cause, and since this is around the area I live I thought it is the best opportunity.
