Chantilly, VA 20151
Are you interested in helping the community? Would you like to be involved in a cause that supports Habitat for Humanity of Washington DC & Northern Virginia? Are you looking for flexible shifts available every day of the week? The Chantilly ReStore needs you! The ReStore accepts donations of new, used, and surplus building supplies, appliances, furniture, and other home improvement items for resale to the general public at up to 50-90% below retail prices. The proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity of Washington DC & Northern Virginia and our work in the community to provide affordable homeownership opportunities to families! The Chantilly ReStore is a fun environment with great, dedicated people working to support a cause they believe in. They need volunteers though to help them run and maintain the store! This is where YOU come in! What will you be doing? Volunteers will work with ReStore staff collecting and receiving donated materials, pricing and stocking items on the store floor, cleaning and organizing the store, and assisting customers in the store. If there is any particular skill set you'd like to utilize such as organization or selling, let our staff know and they'll let you flex that skill set. If you are interested in volunteering at the Chantilly ReStore, you can sign up to volunteer at: https://habitatnova.volunteerhub.com. Please Note: Volunteers must be 16 years or older to volunteer. If the volunteer is under 18, the waiver must be signed by an adult. Please visit: https://habitatnova.volunteerhub.com to view shifts and sign-up! Please visit: https://www.habitatnova.org/restore/about-restore/ to learn more about our ReStores!
