During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of both COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
Are you interested in helping the community? Would you like to be involved in a cause that supports Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia? Are you looking for flexible shifts available everyday of the week? The Chantilly ReStore needs you! The ReStore accepts donations of new, used, and surplus building supplies, appliances, furniture, and other home improvement items for resale to the general public at up to 50-90% below retail prices. The proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia and our work in the community to provide affordable homeownership opportunities to families!
The Chantilly ReStore is a fun environment with great, dedicated people working to support a cause they believe in. They need volunteers though to help them run and maintain the store! This is where YOU come in!
What will you be doing? Volunteers will work with ReStore staff collecting and receiving donated materials, pricing and stocking items on the store floor, cleaning and organizing the store, and assisting customers in the store. If there is any particular skill set you'd like to utilize such as organization or selling, let our staff know and they'll let you flex that skill set. If you are interested in volunteering at the Chantilly ReStore, you can sign up to volunteer at: https://habitatnova.volunteerhub.com.
Please Note: Volunteers must be 16 years or older to volunteer. If the volunteer is under 18, the waiver must be signed by an adult.

Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia (Habitat NOVA) rallies our community together to help families build strength, stability, and self-reliance to create better lives for themselves and their children. Habitat's unique approach to low-cost home ownership relies on owner sweat equity, donor generosity, volunteer labor and interest-free mortgage.
Since 1990, Habitat for Humanity has built or renovated 50 homes for familes in need in Arlington, Alexandria, and Fairfax County. We plan to build on this success by building our next 50 homes in the next five years.
We'll work with your schedule.
