My time with Neighbors was so rewarding it is my home away from home, with guaranteed humor and lots of laughter. It is a joy to see the extent to which staff and volunteers are united in sharing the organization mission. Whether you are there to make enquiries at the front desk, check out “Neighbors’ boutique” or shop at the food shelf, there is always someone to give you a warm welcome once you walk through the doors. Volunteer opportunities at Neighbors comes in all forms. It was eye opening for me to see a young girl choosing to bring in footwear for other children and volunteering on her birthday. Are you looking for a way to give back to the community? Do you think it’s time to educate your children about giving? How about creating a family tradition with a volunteer activity at Neighbors? I highly recommend that you make Neighbors your place to volunteer. Irrespective of your age or area of interest, Neighbors will welcome your time with them, and find you something rewarding.

I absolutely loved my time at Neighbors and I cannot wait to start volunteering there again! Last summer I volunteered as the Talent Engagement Intern and I am very thankful for the experience that I had. Their staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming and the other volunteers are no different. It was a warm environment to come into everyday and it was awesome to work with people who are so passionate about what they do. I felt that my work genuinely made a difference and impacted their organization and I always felt very appreciated. They offer numerous volunteer opportunities and I would highly recommend all of them!
