Clothes Closet

Do you have a passion for sustainable fashion? Neighbors' Clothes Closet Thrift Store is the place for you!

Clients can receive free certificates to shop in the store for needed clothing or household items. In addition, proceeds from sales provide funding for Neighbors, Inc.’s emergency and supportive services, like the food shelf, transportation, and holiday programs. All of this is made possible with the help of our volunteers!

Key Activities

  • Process and evaluate donated items
  • Provide great customer service by greeting customers, answering questions and assisting customers with finding items when necessary
  • Organize, clean and straighten racks and the sales floor - help to create a beautiful space where customers can shop with dignity and joy
  • Cashiers will ring up sales, count money and provide change
  • Must be at least 14 years-old. Cashiers must be at least 18
  • A positive attitude and a sense of teamwork
  • A willingness to work hard-to leave the store and Neighbors better than you found it
  • Non-English language skills helpful but not necessary
  • Volunteer opportunities exist Tuesday - Friday from 9:30 - 3:30 in three hour shifts.
  • The store is open to the public on Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:00 - 3:00
