Description
Meals On Wheels, Inc. of Tarrant County provides hot, nourishing meals to elderly and disabled persons who are unable to provide meals for themselves. The meals, plus daily contact by caring volunteers and professional case management allow frail, homebound persons to remain in their own homes...where they want to be.

I've been a volunteer for a little over a year and I love it! It only takes a short time out of my week and I meet the most wonderful people. It's gratifying to know that they will eat a nutritious meal because of my efforts but what I enjoy most is chatting with them and getting to know them. They inspire me! I look forward to volunteering every week.
