Mission Statement

The mission statement of A Child's Place CASA, Ltd., as taken from the organization's by-laws, is a nonprofit organization, that speaks for the best interests of abused and neglected children within the court system. In order to promote and provide each child with a safe, permanent, and nurturing home, CASA recruits, screens, trains, and supports volunteer citizens to perform this important advocacy for needy children in collaboration with essential agencies, legal counsel, and community resources.

A Child's Place CASA, Ltd. serves Brooke, Hancock & Jefferson Counties. The organization recruits, screens, trains, and supports community citizens who choose to give back to their community by working for the best interests of the abused and neglected children of our community.

A Child's Place CASA works diligently to help abused and neglected children find safety and a permanent place to live. The staff is incredibly devoted, friendly and professional. They have CASA volunteers who work from 10-20 hours a month. They have an Angel Roll to help meet their financial needs. And they have an Auxiliary Team for those who want to offer support in a different way. I would strongly encourage anyone interested to contact them!
