VOLUNTEER - Director, Service delivery branch Location: Fully Remote, preferably based in Ontario however Alberta and BC are OK Term: Preferably Someone looking to be with us for 2+Years Hours will vary: 6-8 Hours a week Do you want to be part of changing our healthcare system? Responsibilities: As the Director of the Integrated Service Delivery Branch at [Organization Name], you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the seamless delivery of our healthcare services across various programs and initiatives. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, you will lead a team dedicated to ensuring that our mission of health equity is realized through efficient and effective service delivery. Strategic Leadership: - Develop and implement Business Plans for the Integrated Service Delivery Branch in alignment with the organization's goals and objectives. - Provide visionary leadership to drive innovation and continuous improvement in service delivery processes. Team Management: - Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of program managers, coordinators, and support volunteers - Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that values diversity and promotes professional growth. Program Oversight - Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of healthcare programs, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements. - Monitor program outcomes and performance metrics to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Partnership Development: - Support the Development Department from an Operations Standpoint to Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies to enhance service delivery and expand reach. - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify emerging needs and opportunities for program development. Financial Management: - Manage the budget for the Integrated Service Delivery Branch, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets. - Monitor expenditures and revenue streams, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies as needed. Reporting and Evaluation: - Prepare regular reports and presentations on program performance, outcomes, and impact for senior leadership, the board of directors, and external stakeholders. - Conduct periodic evaluations and assessments to measure the effectiveness of service delivery initiatives and inform strategic decision-making. What you bring to the table: Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, public health, business administration, or a related field or equivalent experience Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare administration, program management, or related roles, with a proven track record of leadership and achievement. Strong understanding of healthcare delivery systems, regulatory requirements, and quality improvement principles. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders. Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, financial management, and project management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
