Through various programs and initiatives, we strive to empower young individuals to explore their artistic talents, express themselves creatively, and build essential skills for their future. Role Description: As a Communications Director at Future Arts, you will play a vital role in enhancing our organization's visibility, outreach, and engagement. You will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies to effectively convey our mission, programs, and impact to various stakeholders, including donors, volunteers, partner organizations, and the community at large. Responsibilities: Content Creation Strategy: Generate strategy for engaging content for social media platforms, newsletters, website, and other communication channels. Social Media Oversight: Collaborate with Future Arts’ social media manager to advise on content scheduling, monitoring, copywriting, and interaction methods with community. Public Relations: Cultivate relationships with media outlets, influencers, and community partners to amplify our message and reach. Marketing Campaigns: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute campaigns to promote upcoming events, fundraisers, and initiatives. Graphic Design/Brand Management: Ensure that brand and marketing materials are visually aligned and promotional materials for digital and print use are on brand. Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze communication metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure alignment of communication efforts with organizational goals and priorities. Qualifications: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in social media management tools and platforms. Experience in content creation, copywriting, and graphic design. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Passion for arts education and youth empowerment. As the Development Manager with a focus on partnerships and grants, you'll play a key role in driving our organizational growth by cultivating strategic relationships with external partners and donors. This is a part-time, temporary position spanning four months, with a commitment of 20 hours per month, with opportunity to turn into a paid position once grants and partnerships are secured. We will reassess possibilities after 4 months. Responsibilities: Partnership Cultivation: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with corporations, foundations, and other organizations aligned with Future Arts’ mission and objectives. Relationship Management: Nurture and maintain strong relationships with existing partners, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring their continued engagement and support. Proposal Development (optional): Collaborate with the team to develop compelling partnership proposals and pitches, tailored to the needs and interests of potential partners. Grant Research and Writing: Research grant opportunities and assist in the development of grant proposals, ensuring alignment with Future Arts’ funding priorities and strategic initiatives. Networking: Attend relevant events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand Future Arts’ reach and establish new partnership connections. Reporting and Evaluation: Track partnership activities, monitor progress towards fundraising goals, and provide regular reports on partnership development efforts to the leadership team. Qualifications: Management & Initiative: Previous experience in development, fundraising, or partnership management, preferably in the nonprofit or arts sector. Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including donors, sponsors, and community partners. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in grant writing and proposal development. Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and identify opportunities for partnership growth and fundraising success.
