Location: Flexible/Remote
Position Type: Volunteer, 10-15 hrs /week, for 4 months (with possibility to extend)

Overview:

Join Future Arts, an innovative women-led organization dedicated to fostering creativity and empowerment through bridging arts + technology + community. As we navigate through a capacity building phase, we are seeking a dedicated individual to join us in the role of Volunteer Development Director. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the strategic and partnership developments in a pivot year of our capacity building phase.

We have successfully developed and executed several programs and partnerships as a nonprofit. Now after nearly 3 years of operations, we are looking to standardize our offerings and secure long term funding and partnerships.


Responsibilities:

  • Partnership Cultivation: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with corporations, foundations, and other organizations aligned with Future Arts’ mission and objectives.
  • Relationship Management: Nurture and maintain strong relationships with existing partners, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring their continued engagement and support.
  • Proposal Development (optional): Collaborate with the team to develop compelling partnership and sponsorship proposals and pitches, tailored to the needs and interests of potential partners.
  • Networking: Attend relevant events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand Future Arts’ reach and establish new partnership connections.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including program management and marketing, to ensure alignment of partnership activities with organizational goals and initiatives.
  • Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated all the way from the top down in the company and that they are followed at all times
  • Commitment to the mission and values of Future Arts to build bridges in an equitable manner, with accessibility first, to include underserved populations in tech + arts spaces and build a better future for generations to come.
