Mission Statement

We are an emergency shelter in Phoenix that receives 50-300 people seeking asylum in the US every day, most of which are departing in the next 24 hours for a cold climate somewhere in the US, where they will wait for a ruling on their asylum case. They have only the clothes on their back and *maybe* a small bag of personal documents (not always!). We provide meals, a place to sleep, showers, clothes, assistance with making their travel arrangements, and a complimentary ride to the airport or bus terminal.
