Clothing Closet Volunteers Needed for Asylum Seekers Shelter! (East Phoenix)

Have you ever wanted to meet and help asylum seekers who are just arriving in the United States? Here's your chance! Join us to volunteer at a local asylum seekers' shelter, a landing pad where asylum seekers that have just been released from detention can eat, sleep, take a shower, maybe get a change of clothes and a ride to the airport before they finally head to their ultimate destination: their sponsor's home somewhere in the United States.

We need volunteers who can sort new donations, and distribute donated clothing to asylum seekers from 0-105 who quite literally have only the clothes on their back.

We welcome volunteers over 14 with an adult, or over 18 without.

Shelter is located around 32nd St and Thomas Rd in Phoenix, AZ. Exact address is provided upon signup.
