28% of seniors in Palm Beach County, FL suffer from food insecurity, or lack of resources to access healthy food on a regular basis. With the help of our committed, passionate volunteers, MorseLife Meals-On-Wheels provides a necessary solution, serving 50,000 meals to approximately 2,500 low-income, homebound seniors in Palm Beach County each year, without regard to a client’s ability to pay. Volunteers call clients with weekly menu offerings and record choices. Must be able to track meal inventory, communicate well with people of diverse backgrounds, and feel comfortable working with elderly clients. All calls are to be made during shift hours so they may be processed by culinary department.

Residents in MorseLife's memory care would love to have a visitor. We treat all our residents with respect and dignity, no matter the engagement level. Some residents want to talk, some want to sit outside, others would benefit from a kind word and a hand to hold. Just being present can help calm someone who is frightened or lonely. Please, consider volunteering with our amazing residents.

Bring smiles and a nutritious meal to those who need it. You will get to know your clients as you will be delivering to the same folks each week. Many of our neighbors right here in Palm Beach County are not able to get out for the items needed to eat a healthy meal. MorseLIfe is here to help. But we can't do it alone. We rely on volunteers to get the meals into the hands of our vulnerable population. Deliveries are done on Monday or Tuesdays, morning or early afternoon. Meal pick up is at MorseLife.

A cancer diagnosis is scary. Understanding treatment and all that is involved is time consuming. Now, imagine you don’t have insurance, you don’t speak the language and you don’t know what to do. That is where The Promise Fund comes in. We are committed to providing equal access for all to quality healthcare in Palm Beach County, specifically for breast and cervical cancer diagnosis and treatment. MorseLife Health System is proud to partner with the Promise Fund of Florida to support this vital mission. We guide individuals and provide one-on-one assistance through their journey from screening, diagnosis, treatment, and completion of care. We need Spanish speaking volunteers to make follow up calls with clients who have signed up for the program. Volunteers will make sure the client understands the importance of going to appointments and provide information for the next steps in treatment. Compassion and patience are a must! We will provide training. Calls are made from our Greenacres location.
