28% of seniors in Palm Beach County, FL suffer from food insecurity, or lack of resources to access healthy food on a regular basis.
With the help of our committed, passionate volunteers, MorseLife Meals-On-Wheels provides a necessary solution, serving 50,000 meals to approximately 2,500 low-income, homebound seniors in Palm Beach County each year, without regard to a client’s ability to pay.
Volunteers call clients with weekly menu offerings and record choices. Must be able to track meal inventory, communicate well with people of diverse backgrounds, and feel comfortable working with elderly clients. All calls are to be made during shift hours so they may be processed by culinary department.
