What to Expect: You will lead our fundraising efforts, donor acquisition strategies, and sponsorship outreach initiatives. Your role will involve identifying potential donors and sponsors, cultivating relationships with philanthropic individuals and organizations, developing fundraising campaigns and events, and overseeing donation processing and acknowledgment. Additionally, you will be responsible for making and receiving US-based calls to engage with prospective donors and sponsors, answer inquiries, and convey our organization's mission and impact. What's Required: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners. Strong sales or negotiation skills, with the ability to pitch our organization's mission and programs persuasively to potential donors and sponsors. Proficiency in making and receiving US-based calls, with a professional and engaging phone demeanor. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong organizational and project management skills to oversee fundraising campaigns and events. We're looking for a volunteer to help with a videography project. Why: Our social media presence at this time has little to no content, and our website needs more polished digital content. With your help, we can begin our social media presence strong and make necessary adjustments to our website. This is a highly visible project that will impact us for a long time! Who: The mission of A Healthier, Happier Me is to improve the physical and emotional health and well-being of youth and young adults in marginalized communities What to Expect: The volunteer can help us in just one or both ways: (Remote) Edit existing videos from 1-2 past events with the goal being to have polished content for use on social media/the website. (Hybrid) Attend 1-2 upcoming events to take videos. The ideal candidate will also be able to then edit the content with the goal being to have polished content for use on social media/the website. We'll share our goals and our target audiences. You will have access to our existing branding strategy (a work in progress) and, if editing existing content, access to a file of videos and logos. What's Required: Editing Software Proficiency: Skilled in video editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Capcut, or similar. Video Footage Management: Ability to organize and manage raw video footage, ensuring proper file formats and resolutions. Cutting & Assembling Clips: Experience in trimming, cutting, and assembling video segments for a seamless flow. Audio Editing: Basic audio editing skills, including syncing audio, adding sound effects, and balancing sound levels. Visual Effects: Familiarity with adding transitions, effects, and text overlays to enhance video quality.
