Description

Rancho Burro Donkey Sanctuary is a Nonprofit (501c3) Organization located in Arroyo Grande, CA, USA.

* Our inspiration and advocacy began with an encounter with a a sweet, gentle and lonely donkey named Harry, who was cast out into a field on the side of Highway 101. He belonged to the property owner, but the owner was not living there. They were treating him as their lawnmower and weed control with no balanced diet or consistent access to water. Although his health was rapidly declining we were not able to rescue Harry and he died of neglect.
