This role will assist with fundraising efforts to increase brand awareness and ultimately grow our community of donors. The objective is to spread our message and encourage our community of supporters to make donations to Invisible Warriors. Upon marketing manager approval, access may be granted to use any appropriate digital marketing outlets (website, blog, newsletter, press releases, etc.) and/or social media channels to promote active fundraising campaigns, encouraging public support. This role directly contributes to Invisible Warriors vision and mission to promote social impact to end improve military women' lives, via the organization’s advocacy, awareness, and education initiatives. Predetermined issues promoted by Invisible Warriors include, but are not limited to: domestic violence, PTSD, other issues of trauma, self-esteem, self-care Duties and Responsibilities * Assist with the planning and management of Invisible Warriors' year-long fundraising initiatives. * Collaborate with staff & other volunteers on #GivingTuesday and year-end fundraising efforts. * Work with the fundraising team to prospect and solicit major and corporate donors. * Identify potential business partners as sponsors. * Help increase communications with supporters and current donors. * Assist is creating the annual fundraising plan. * Contribute creative ideas for new fundraising opportunities. Skills & Personal Traits * Strong interpersonal skills. * Outgoing, enthusiastic and creative thinker. * Ability to build strong relationships with new people, businesses, and organizations. * Ability to use online tools to engage members, donors, and corporate partners. * Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills. * Works well independently and proactively as part of a team.

Local and State Advocacy Volunteer for Alabama Organization: Invisible Warriors Location: Alabama Time Commitment: Approximately 10 hours per month About Invisible Warriors: Invisible Warriors is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting women veterans who are dealing with PTSD, Military Sexual Trauma (MST), and other invisible illnesses. Our mission is to provide resources, advocacy, and a supportive community for women who have served in the military. Position Description: Our current mission is to gain recognition for Women Veterans Recognition Day as a federally recognized holiday. This day, observed on June 12th, marks the anniversary of the Women's Armed Services Integration Act. While several states acknowledge this day, Alabama is not yet among them. We aim to change that, and we need your help. We're seeking passionate individuals to assist us in raising awareness with both the state government and the Department of Veterans Affairs. This volunteer role offers a unique chance to experience how positive change happens at the government level.
