PT Sales & Marketing Managers Opportunity: (NOTE: Shifts vary by event, activity, meetings, or school.) Major Responsibilities Duties: Support sales & marketing community outreach responsibilities for marketing activities with direction from the President. Willing to learn and finish various assignments on time and within budget. Generate daily reports of activities status - pending, follow-up required, or completed. Maintains activity calendar entries and special projects. Take appropriate action as necessary. Prioritize incoming calls or email inquiries and set appointments for follow-ups. Serve as point of contact for guidance and support initiatives. Relationship management: Develop school presence and keep ongoing communications live, active, and vibrant with school administrators, teachers, and students as a PIE and/or an Additions volunteer. You can attend all meetings with the President of the National STEM Society via Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, or in person at schools or other venues. Marketing Events responsibilities: Organize schools, teachers, student volunteers, and other volunteers' support for startup activities (partnership meetings/events, STEM Ambassador Clubs, school participation, outdoor educational awareness projects, etc.) in Central Florida or North Georgia. Complete forms, volunteer background checks, and information required for upcoming events. Other responsibilities: Proficient in Office 365 or willing to learn. Willing to learn Adobe, Windows, or Apple products. Preference for college student interns or seasoned sales personnel who use Apple and/or Windows computers daily. Ability to be on time and on-call for specific events and meetings Ability to work remotely or in person. 10-15% travel may be required for this opportunity. Perform other duties as assigned. Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities. Your talents, abilities, and skills will be rewarded. Entry-level internship compensation can be discussed for college students. Education Required: For ages 16 & up All confirmed volunteers are required to complete a child sexual abuse awareness training. PT Creative Director Opportunity: Major Responsibilities Duties: Support sales and marketing community outreach responsibilities for creative digital marketing, social media campaigns, or Facebook/Instagram social media updates/activities with direction from the President and Board of Directors. This volunteer opportunity is an interim board member recruitment role. Willing to learn and finish various research creative assignments (event social media post on multiple platforms, flyers, newsletters, campaigns, etc.) on time and within budget if applicable. Generate daily reports of activities status, results or outcomes for pending, follow-ups required, or completed tasks in NSS database or online Microsoft Teams, OneNote, or SharePoint portals. Maintains activity Microsoft Teams calendar entries and special creative marketing activities and digital media projects. Take appropriate action as necessary. Prioritize incoming calls from partners or email inquiries and set appointments for follow-ups with you and leadership staff members. Serve as point of contact for partner, schools and community projects guidance and support initiatives. Marketing Events responsibilities: Lead and organize schools, teachers, student volunteers, and other volunteers' support for startup activities (partnership meetings/events, STEM Ambassador Clubs, school participation, outdoor educational awareness projects, etc.) in Central Florida or North Georgia. Create and complete forms and information required for upcoming events. Other responsibilities: Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications and Microsoft Office 365 Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, etc. or willing to learn. Willing to learn Adobe, Windows, or Apple products. We prefer college student interns in digital marketing, creative arts, information technology, or seasoned social media gurus who use Apple and/or Windows computers daily. Ability to be on time and on-call for specific events and meetings Ability to work remotely or in person. 10-15% travel may be required for this opportunity. Perform other duties as assigned. Understand and actively participate in Social Media Research, Digital Marketing Tools, or Creative Projects Management procedures, volunteer or on-the-job training, and team member involvement activities. This role's potential compensation after volunteering is depends on grant awards or partner sponsorship of the position.
