Resilience, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to improving the mental health of students, as well as reducing mass shootings, suicide, and depression. Resilience, Inc. also works to combat declining test scores, low student engagement, and a slew of other social issues. Our organization focuses on offering Social Emotional Learning tools to enable K-12 schools to teach emotional intelligence through 5 core topics: self-awareness, self-control, social awareness, relationship management, goal setting & effective decision-making. We also provide tools for acquiring and maintaining inspiration, hope, social beings, and overall well-being. Our mission is to teach SEL tools at every school in the country. It is a tough challenge, but we know "No Challenge, No Change." If you are also concerned about children’s mental health and social well-being, join us! Become a member of Resilience, Inc. and help change the way schools approach mental health. Resilience offers unpaid internship programs that require at least a 4-month commitment with a minimum of 5 hours per week and team meetings weekly. Availability must also allow for as-needed meetings/phone calls. There are flexible start and end dates with the option to continue after meeting the minimum requirement. As a Director of Training at Resilience, you will oversee Resilience, Inc.'s training and development programs. Manage training initiatives to ensure employees acquire the necessary skills and knowledge. Daily Expectation As the Director of Training, your daily expectations will include: Training Program Development: Design and develop training programs that align with Resilience, Inc.'s goals. Content Creation: Develop training materials and resources to support learning objectives. Needs Assessment: Identify training needs within Resilience, Inc. through assessments and feedback mechanisms. Evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, evaluations, and performance metrics. Communication: Collaborate with team members to ensure training aligns with organizational objectives. Employee Development: Support individual employee development by enhancing employees' skills, knowledge, and abilities. Requirements: To fulfill the role successfully, you should meet the following requirements: Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree program in Education or Industrial Design. Strong interest in employee growth and success, leadership, and team development. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Ability to work independently while also being a team player and attending remote meetings weekly. Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail. Consistent communication with team members and a willingness to learn and improve critical skills. Receptiveness to feedback and problem-solving skills. Objective-driven approach to learning and development. Excellent communication skills and personal accountability, with the ability to hold others accountable as needed. Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week, with flexibility during exam weeks. Some educational institutions require prior approval before the start of an internship. It is the responsibility of the student to check with their institution to be sure they meet any requirements before they accept a position.

As an Outreach Associate at Resilience, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining connections with mental health counselors and schools by sending a large volume of messages in an effort to distribute our products across the US. Promote the social-emotional curriculum through developing projects for the Outreach department. RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES: Communicate with various figures and organizations to increase the positive legislation surrounding social-emotional learning in K-12 schools. Develop an understanding of legislative policies regarding the social-emotional learning curriculum. Conduct research to identify potential partners, sponsors, or collaborators for outreach initiatives. Assist in developing and implementing outreach strategies to increase awareness and engagement. Maintain and update databases of contacts, partners, and outreach material. Assist in analyzing outreach effectiveness and provide feedback for improvement. Represent the organization at community events or meetings. REQUIREMENTS: Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, business administration, advertising, community development, or public relations. Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in using social media platforms and other communication tools. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a team. Enthusiastic about community engagement and outreach activities. Basic understanding of marketing and outreach principles. Proficient in Google Drive or similar productivity tools. Although this is an unpaid internship, there is the opportunity to earn school credit. Some educational institutions require prior approval before the start of an internship. This is an unpaid, volunteer remote opportunity. Expectations - Engage in a leadership and advisor capacity within Resilience Tech/IT department - Support development and updates to Resilience mobile apps, Wordpress sites, tech customer and internal tools and support - Provide leadership and mentoring support to student volunteers on key initiatives, projects and training and development - Provide support to achieve Resilience’s mission and help to refine overall vision and strategy - Establish department goals, budget, projects and tasks in alignment with executive leadership and other teams - Coordinate and support department team members with execution on key projects and tasks by providing guidance, addressing challenges and removing barriers to progress - Conduct weekly meetings to ensure the department is maintained and goals are being achieved, and strategies/plans are being developed in order to pursue the organization’s mission - Review and analyze business data to identify trends to improve engagement, performance and experience of staff members - Participate in organization meetings to update executive leadership and other departments, discuss key opportunities to continue to achieve Resilience's mission and address any issues - Proactively engage with the executive leadership team to develop an outstanding and high-performing work environment - Contribute to the development of Resilience Inc by partnering with other leaders, directors, and project managers - Demonstrate your passion!
