The organization is seeking talented professionals to take on leadership senior advisor roles within various departments of the organization. If you are also concerned about children’s mental health and want to learn more about the SEL program. Join us! Become a staff member of Resilience, Inc. This is an unpaid, volunteer, remote position with flexible hours. Responsibilities Engage in a leadership and advisor capacity within a selected Resilience department such as IT, HR, Finance, Marketing, Outreach, Self Governance and Compliance, Curriculum Development, Strategy and Planning, Research and Development, Training and Leadership Development, Customer Service. Provide leadership and mentoring support to student volunteers on key initiatives, projects and training and development. Establish department goals, budget, projects and tasks in alignment with executive leadership and other teams. Coordinate and support department team members with execution on key projects and tasks by providing guidance, addressing challenges and removing barriers to progress. Conduct weekly meetings to ensure the department is maintained and goals are being achieved, and strategies/plans are being developed in order to pursue the organization’s mission. Review and analyze business data to identify trends to improve engagement, performance and experience of staff members. Qualifications 2 + years of professional experience in at least one of Resilience’s department areas. Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree is preferred. Experience with managing and growing teams. Experience in leadership or senior management preferred. Experience with attracting, developing, and motivating employees, swiftly adapting to change, developing collaborative relationships with others is preferred. Be able to work independently, demonstrate reliability and be punctual. Attention to detail. Consistently and clearly communicate with team members. Learning Outcomes Develop nonprofit management and leadership skills through supporting critical SEL needs for schools K-12. Learn more about SEL tools and skills to improve mental health outcomes in students. Exposure to leveraging technology to address challenges in education. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Training and Leadership Development Director/Coordinator who is a strong English speaker and possesses leadership experience in the professional or academic world. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our Training and Leadership Development division. They will collaborate with various departments to create training materials and resources focused on building resilience. The director will lead a team in the development of training materials, including videos, guides, and other resources, ensuring that every employee has the necessary tools to excel in their roles. Additionally, the director will work closely with Project Managers to align goals and objectives set by the Executive Director. Responsibilities Oversee the operations of the Training and Leadership Development division, ensuring smooth functioning and efficient processes. Collaborate with department directors to gather relevant information and resources for training material development. Lead the creation of training materials, including script writing, video creation, and guides, maintaining high-quality standards. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring timely completion of projects. Coordinate the sharing of training materials with respective employees, utilizing various channels and platforms. Conduct regular meetings with Project Managers to organize goals for the division, aligning them with the objectives set by the Executive Director. Continuously research and learn about various aspects of resilience to incorporate into training materials and programs. Assess the effectiveness of training materials and programs, gathering feedback from employees and stakeholders, and making improvements as necessary. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in training and leadership development methodologies. Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Qualifications Pursuing bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business Administration) is preferred. Proven experience in a leadership role in either a professional or academic setting. Strong English language skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts. Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks efficiently. Proficiency in creating and editing training materials, including videos and written guides. Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theories. The Director of the Curriculum Department plays a crucial role in shaping our educational programs and ensuring their alignment with our goals and objectives. Responsibilities Curriculum Development: Collaborate with subject matter experts, teachers, and instructional designers to develop and enhance curriculum materials, ensuring alignment with educational standards and best practices. We are currently looking for a passionate, hardworking teammate to build Virtual Reality games inside Unity. Our team members are dedicated designers, developers, and deliverers of social emotional learning tools that develop mental and emotional strength and resilience. Responsibilities Translate design ideas, concepts, and requirements into functional and engaging applications. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, secure, and reliable code. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Ability to identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to address and mitigate issues. Meeting with the design team to discuss product ideas and specifications. Establishing strategy and development pipelines. Testing product functionality and theme dynamics. Ensuring products conform to high industry standards. Designing and building patches and upgrades. Ability to use software development methodology to assist in the development of VR software.
