Here is a job description for the technical support volunteer role: Responsibilities: Support the onboarding process for new team members, providing technical assistance and guidance to ensure a seamless integration into our virtual workspace. Answer emails and address technical issues relating to our Google and GoDaddy accounts, troubleshooting problems and providing solutions to ensure smooth functionality. Monitor and address technical issues on a weekly basis to ensure that everyone is able to communicate effectively with each other via our Google Workspace platform. Collaborate with the IT team to troubleshoot and resolve any technical challenges or system errors. Provide technical assistance and guidance to team members regarding the use of various software and applications utilized by the organization. Document technical issues and resolutions, maintaining accurate records for future reference. Requirements: Strong technical skills and familiarity with Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) applications, including Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Meet. Experience with GoDaddy account management and troubleshooting. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively address technical inquiries and provide instructions to team members. Availability in the Eastern time zone to ensure prompt assistance during working hours. Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
