We are seeking a passionate and creative YouTube Content Creator to join our team at Take Trips MES. We are dedicated to supporting individuals reintegrate into society after incarceration and reducing recidivism rates especially among youth, particularly those from communities of color. As a YouTube Content Creator, you will play a pivotal role in raising awareness, providing valuable resources, and fostering a supportive community through engaging and informative video content.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Content Creation: Develop compelling video content that educates, inspires, and empowers individuals navigating reentry into society.
  2. Community Engagement: Foster a supportive and inclusive online community through meaningful interactions, comments moderation, and responding to audience inquiries and feedback.
  3. Promotion and Outreach: Develop strategies to promote video content and increase reach and engagement across YouTube and other social media platforms.
  4. Research and Trends: Stay informed about current issues and trends to ensure content remains relevant and impactful.

Mission Statement

Take Trips MES (Mentally, Emotionally, Spiritually) will work tirelessly to ensure that incarcerated and detention youth of color will benefit from adequate aftercare programs and services once they have been released from the system.

Description

TTMES stands for "Take Trips Mentally, Emotionally, Spiritually."

As the recidivism rate among youth continues to rise, we must ask ourselves, "how do we deal with negative starts that don't steer us to positive travels?"

When youth of color are released from incarceration or detention centers, they often lack adequate support systems, care, and guidance. TTMES is here to remove the many barriers that prevent positive outcomes. We aim to empower youth of color and provide the tools necessary to heal from the damage of the incarceration system. We are committed to healing the hurt and providing the foundation that they need to succeed.
