A passion for the world's poor and poverty alleviation efforts are a must. ABOUT RISEUP MALAWI Everyday children in Malawi face major barriers to education that keep generations of families locked into cycles of extreme poverty. Some of these barriers include health crises like HIV/AIDS and malaria, high rates of child marriage, long distance commutes to school and economic insecurity in the household, to name a few. Our goal as an organization is to remove these barriers through interventions that promote sustainable development and independence. We do not give hand outs but are committed to walking with our community in relationship in the long term through education. We are a faith driven organization with ministry out reach in Malawi with education as our primary mission. To learn more, please visit riseupmalawi.org.
