MorseLife Hospice is here to provide our patients and their families the support and resources they need at this difficult time. We are looking for individuals who possess the desire to work with those who are on their end-of-life journey. Volunteers offer companionship to the patients through various activities such as talking, reading, and listening to music. Some volunteers may help in light housework or meal preparation. Volunteers are patient advocates, providing a communication bridge between the patient and our organization. While our campus is located in West Palm Beach, we have a need for volunteers in the south county area. Patients live at home, in skilled nursing, and independent living facilities. Volunteers who are veterans are needed. All volunteers must be at least 18, have proof of Covid vaccine, complete a background check, and pass a drug screen. No experience is needed. We will train you. At MorseLife Hospice you are never alone. We are here to help you as you provide this important service.

Have you thought about volunteering for hospice but thought it you have to work with patients? Good News! We are seeking individuals to help with office task. You may be asked to answer phones, make copies, prepare packets and more. Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. Training is provided. All volunteers must get a TB and drug screen as well as a background check. Must be 18 years of age or older.

Are you a certified pet therapist? We are looking for those who have a passion to bring joy to hospice patients. Our patients love visitors to provide companionship and brighten their day. If you have a therapy dog and would like to help with our goal of living each day to the fullest we'd love to hear from you. Visits will take place at the MorseLife campus in West Palm beach or the patient home in Palm Beach County.
