Grocery Shopping is a common need we all have. It's harder to achieve without a car or the money to afford delivery apps. At Northwest Neighbors Network (NNN), our volunteers serve seniors in south Snohomish and north King County with ¨good neighborly¨ tasks like offering rides, grocery shopping, running errands, helping at home, taking out the garbage, shopping, helping with technology support, social visits and more. We offer an easy, flexible, self signup process to make volunteering easy, at your pace and fun! Select services that appeal to you and connect with a neighbor in need. Volunteer from the comfort of your home, and support Seniors so they can remain in their home for as long as possible! Volunteer in phone outreach , calling our Senior Neighbors to check in, or as a Services Coordinator Volunteer , where you answer calls and emails to coordinate volunteer services for senior neighbors. Northwest Neighbors Network (NNN) v olunteers are simply good neighbors , who help however they can. Volunteers help with transportation, simple home tasks, technology, simple repairs, social visits, event planning and committee work.

Northwest Neighbors Network has lots of opportunities for volunteering, many of which you can do from home! Board member or Social Activities Committee member: Step into a leadership role with a great team, currently holding regular meetings, hosting events, managing the NNN events calendar and planning our big summer event Volunteer onboarding support : Perform reference checks & volunteer phone interviews Member outreach support: Assign volunteers to check in with seniors in our community, or make some calls yourself Services Coordinator: T riage requests for assistance from our members using a shared Google Voice app and emails, and help to connect volunteers with neighbors who need help Fundraising support: H elp with all sorts of tasks to make our efforts sustainable, including researching small business funding opportunities, grant research, grant writing, and writing thank-you notes Newsletter Editor/content coordinator: Help create our monthly newsletter , including soliciting new content and writers, coordinating with other contributors, and doing final editing and publishing through our website platform Community resources for members : Help research organizations and companies that might benefit of seniors in our community, so that we have the most up-to-date resources for referrals Back-up Driving Team: Join our small but mighty team of backup/quick-response drivers. Usually we know a week in advance if a ride is needed, but sometimes a volunteer has to cancel or an emergency request pops up. All of these opportunites can be performed from home, for the most part. Training and ongoing support will be offered.
