This is a dynamic role which will see you work with the Fundraising and Communications teams to recognise that support is far greater than just financial donations: we put a great value on our community’s time, communication with their personal networks, skills and ideas. You will take on the responsibility of being a central point of contact for LAFF’s supporters when organizing their own fundraising events, as well as developing and delivering innovative events and campaigns for LAFF. Your ability to think creatively to create disruptive communications strategies which will engage individuals and convert them into supporters will be crucial, as well as your research skills to help find new opportunities to hold events and campaigns. Objectives of this Role Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the Events and Campaigns Coordinator will be expected to carry out the following tasks: I dentify, plan and host fundraising events online and in person Network and establish contact with individuals and businesses for potential event collaboration or partnership Take primary responsibility for all planning, logistics and arrangements of LAFF’s ongoing events and campaigns. Work closely with the communications team to actively promote and create awareness of LAFF’s events, identifying the appropriate audiences and potential attendees and tailoring the strategy accordingly e.g. local or expat communities Act as a central point of contact and support for LAFF community members organizing their own events and develop resources for members to use Engage LAFF’s donor community with targeted events for different audiences e.g. school assemblies, webinars, raffles Support the communications team in developing visual media to promote events and for campaigns Skills and Qualifications Undergraduate degree in a related field (Communications, Event Management, International Relations) or currently enrolled 6 months of volunteering or work experience; PR/Communications/Event Planning experience highly desirable but not essential Advanced proficiency in either English or Spanish required, but high proficiency in both languages desirable Energetic with excellent interpersonal and networking skills Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills Good time management and communication skills for working with other teams Highly organized, flexible, independent, culturally sensitive and detail oriented with the ability to multitask Knowledge of design and formatting a plus Personal Qualities This role lends itself to an individual who is able to work individually to research and plan, but who is also able to communicate clearly and coordinate with other teams within LAFF. As the Communications Coordinator, you will play a key role in fostering new relationships and maintaining existing ones. You will focus on informing our communities of relevant news from LAFF, our partners, and Peru. Your independent research skills and innovation will see you collaborate with all of LAFF’s team to collect and present information. You will also work closely with Fundraising to develop campaigns and tailor communications to specific audiences. Objectives of this Role Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the Communications Coordinator will be expected to carry out the following tasks: Manage all of LAFF’s communications Produce and disseminate high quality electronic communication regarding LAFF’s activities. About the role: LAFF's Development officer is responsible for stewarding and managing the organisation's donor and partner relations and expanding its local and international network, creating new opportunities for fundraising and partnerships, while being responsible for LAFF’s financial stability, brand image and visibility on different channels. Tasks and responsibilities The Development Officer’s main tasks and responsibilities include: Researching and identifying new funding opportunities, including new grants, corporate supporters or campaign opportunities. Grow and maintain excellent relationships with all existing LAFF donors, including individual donors, trust and foundations, university societies and schools, corporate, private, and other potential donor groups. Write and submit high quality grant applications to ensure a consistent income stream from trusts, foundations, and other donor groups Write and submit high quality and timely donor reports to maintain strong relations with donors and encourage long-term relationships Collect and analyse fundraising data to monitor progress and feedback to the Board Maintain up to date donor relations and fundraising data systems. Leave: 2 days per month Duration: 3 months Application Deadline: Ongoing Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) is an essential part of LAFF’s work: it allows us to identify areas of success and areas which need improvement, as well as to make sure that all of LAFF’s activities work to support our long term goals and mission. Under the supervision of the Programme Manager, the M&E Coordinator will develop LAFF’s M&E Strategy, aiming to monitor and evaluate the progress, effectiveness and impact of our programs and interventions through a participatory and culturally sensitive approach. You will lead all M&E activities for LAFF, measure indicators, work closely with our local partners and beneficiaries in Peru, and produce internal and external reports. You will have independence to propose frameworks for data collection, summarising and storing, as well as compiling reports to present data and draw conclusions. The M&E Coordinator will have a logical approach to collecting data, recognising the specific context in which we work and how that affects both quantitative and qualitative data. Objectives of this Role Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the M&E Coordinator will be expected to carry out the follow ing tasks: Design strategies for strengthening data collection, interpretation and reporting. Design and develop appropriate framework and attendant systems for effective monitoring and evaluation of programmes Coordinate all M&E activities for the organisation Carry out evaluations, impact assessments, and prepare case studies on intervention. Lead development of result chains for each intervention before implementation and ensure that a measurement plan is in place. Assess the existing M&E system, indicators and tools used by our partners, as well as the possibility of changing, improving and/or unifying these systems.
