JRC Adult Day Center Door Greeter

The Door Greeter is the first friendly smile as people enter the JRC Adult Day Center! The Door Greeter welcomes guests, driver, families and member when they arrive to the Center. They assist members with checking in, assist with personal items and lead member to an activity area. They may also connect other types of guests to the appropriate staff member and/or answer questions as they are able. The Door Greeter may also assist members upon leaving by helping them to check-out and assisting with personal items. When not answering the door, the Door Greeter may assist with other light duties.

JRC Adult Day Center Field Trip Assistant

Develop friendly relationships with members while participating in fun activities during field trips and outing from the JRC Adult Day Center! The Field Trip Assistant assists staff and members during field trips and outings. They assist member as needed during activity outings and help keep members within group activities. The Field Trip Assistant may assist with other light duties. We also offer a stay behind assistant (1 or 2) that will help engage our members with activities while others are away on a field trip.

JRC Adult Day Center Crafting Assistant

A JRC Adult Day Center Crafting Assistant is needed daily from 10:00 am till 2:00 pm - Monday thru Friday A Creative and Crafty volunteer assistant helps think of inexpensive and fun crafts within the capability of the senior members of JRC Adult Day Center. The Crafting Assistant will also help determine supplies needed, prep for the activities and may assist members in putting the crafts together. Other light duties may be assigned.

JRC (formerly JR Coleman) is comprised of two 501(c)(3) private not for profit organizations located in Canton, Ohio: JRC Learning Center (early education and school-age programs) and JRC Adult Day Center. JRC also offers a minor home repair service and is the project manager for for the Mahoning Road Economic Development project.
