Greenstand is working on a project (Treetracker) to reverse the cycle and we need your help to secure new funding to ensure that we can make this a reality. ROLE PURPOSE We are currently seeking a grant assistant who can gather requirements for suitable grants so that our grant writers can spend their time on securing new funding. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure that we meet eligibility criteria and gather requirements for identified grants with details such as; the amount of funding, deadline, etc. keeping detailed records of submitted grants Prepare templates for the Grant Writer for each grant based on the requirements Supporting our Grant Writers with basic research for grants as directed and providing quality resources to use in writing our responses Contacting grant providers for additional information as needed to ensure we can produce a quality grant application Able to keep a central bank of answers from submitted grants that can be modified and used in additional grants to reduce the Grant Writer's duplication of work Required Competencies: Previous experience of grant research would be beneficial (preferred) Great attention to detail, high standard of grammar Strong research skills Great verbal and written communication skills Passion for the environment and/or poverty alleviation Knowledge of fundraising information sources

This role will enhance the VMS by developing efficient automation workflows using Google Workspace tools and scripting. This role is responsible for: Designing and deploying Apps Script-powered automation for internal tools like Forms, Sheets, Docs, and Gmail. Managing triggers, workflows, and scripts that move data and automate key touchpoints. Organizing technical documentation and training materials for these systems. Required tasks Google Forms & Sheets Automation: Create and maintain volunteer intake forms, feedback surveys, and connected Sheets with automated formatting, tagging, and data routing. Apps Script Development: Develop and maintain scripts to automate approval flows, status updates, notifications, and document generation. Email & Calendar Workflow Automation: Set up workflows that trigger personalized email responses, task assignments, and meeting invitations based on volunteer form submissions or system events. Maintain Documentation & Structure: Ensure all automation processes are clearly documented in Gitbook or Google Docs, including logic, triggers, and integration points. Troubleshoot & Optimize: Proactively monitor automation scripts for errors, inefficiencies, and outdated workflows. Collaborate with the VMS Team: Gather needs from VMS leads and align automation efforts with volunteer coordination goals. QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE: Experience with Google Apps Script (JavaScript-based) and automating Google Workspace tools. Strong understanding of Google Forms, Sheets, Gmail, and Calendar workflows. Comfortable working with triggers, web apps, and dynamic form/sheet integration. The Blockchain Developer will focus on building and optimizing the tokenization process for environmental impact tracking, including non-fungible (Greenstand Tokens) and fungible tokens (TRing), ensuring secure, transparent, and efficient transactions on the Greenstand network.
