Amphibians need good quality wetlands and uplands. Their presence or absence is a good indication of the health of the watershed. Join Friends of the Rouge's long term listening survey to learn about frogs and toads, their calls and help collect data by simply listening. It is simple, fun and rewarding.

Surveys are done independently on damp warm evenings by listening for the calls. Results are mapped and provided to communities. Attend the in person training held on Sat, March 2, 2024 10 am-12 pm at the Livonia Civic Center Library. Pre-registration is required.
