Help set the table for those in need!
One volunteer session helps The Food Bank provide more than 300 meals for our neighbors in need. Generous volunteers like YOU keep food donations moving through The Food Bank and into the hands of families, children and seniors needing a little extra help to set the table. Annually, volunteers help Ozarks Food Harvest distribute more than 10 million meals across the Ozarks.
Whether you can give a few hours monthly or commit to a weekly schedule, your gift of time helps Transform Hunger into Hope for children, families and seniors. Schedule your session today at ozarksfoodharvest.org/volunteer.
** Weekday Opportunities**
Weekday volunteers process thousands of pounds of food donations each week for distribution. These "Sort & Repack" projects involve sorting like items, checking expiration dates & package integrity and repacking for distribution. Projects are scheduled according to The Food Bank's incoming donations and distribution needs.

Description
Ozarks Food Harvest is the Feeding America food bank for southwest Missouri, serving 270 hunger-relief organizations across 28 Ozark counties. The Food Bank currently provides more than 23 million meals annually. This is especially important as one in five children and one in seven adults face food insecurity in southwest Missouri.
Founded in 1983, the Food Bank accepts, processes, warehouses and distributes food and supplies to a network of food pantries, kitchens and shelters, in addition to direct-relief programs such as the Weekend Backpack Program, Mobile Food Pantry, After-School & Summer Food Programs, Senior Food Program and more.
