ORGANIZATION: Volunteers of America Northern Colorado Services

What would you do if you could no longer get to the grocery store and had no one to help you get groceries?

As a volunteer with Volunteers of America's Grocery Shopping Program, you can help seniors and individuals with disabilities in Fort Collins continue living well in their own homes by shopping for their groceries once a week. Grocery lists provided, all you have to do is be in the store to pull their items!

Additional volunteer benefits available to those 55+. Positions are available to anyone 18+.

Shopping day is Thursday from 7am-10am.

Description

The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Volunteers of America provides volunteer opportunities for individuals 55 years and older to use their skills, insight and lifetime experiences to assist residents and non-profit agencies in the county. RSVP also offers a variety of programs which provide services and enhance the quality of life for seniors.
