Equity in women's leadership is our vision. Our programming is designed to educate, inspire and empower women in different circumstances and life stages.
Financial independence is a critical element for women to thrive, so we currently provide financial literacy workshops and mentoring to women to facilitate their continuous growth and success. We serve women who have overcome trauma, hardships, and victimization.
We have over 200 volunteers and have built considerable momentum. We need to hire staff to continue what we already have, and keep our rate of growth.
We have volunteers who are working on various aspects of fundraising, and a recently hired part time fundraising specialist. We need a board member who has experience in fundraising and development to guide the team's efforts.
If you have fundraising and development experience and a passion for women's leadership, let's talk.

Mission Statement
50/50 Leadership is committed to Empowering, Educating, and Inspiring women from all walks of life to become Leaders in their careers and communities. Make a difference.
Description
Established in 2004, we provide financial literacy programs to young women who have grown up in foster care, been incarcerated, been unhoused, and/or survived gender-based violence. In the past, we led leadership training programs and honored women who are making a difference around the world.
We feel that every girl and woman should have the opportunity to realize their leadership potential. Whether they are a leader in their home, at work, school or in the community.
We are women and men from all walks of life who agree that leadership should reflect the gender of the population: women make up more than half of the U.S. population and should be equally included in boardrooms, elected offices, academia, and all public and private enterprises and endeavors.
