Houndhaven participates in numerous fundraising and adoption events throughout the Central Florida area. These typically are on the weekends and require only an occasional commitment. Volunteers are typically needed to participate as dog handlers for large dogs or man booths to inform people of our organization.

Houndhaven, Inc. is a no kill shelter that rescues dogs and puppies from kill shelters and other circumstances and cares for them until loving homes can be found. Our mission is life.
Description
Houndhaven, Inc. is run entirely on donations and volunteers. Volunteers help walk, feed, medicate, bathe and clean up after the dogs. Other volunteers help introduce the dogs to prospective adopting parties at adoption fairs, while others do fundraising and help maintain our presence on various websites.
