The Sapphire Butterflies Heart 2 Heart Mother and Daughter Retreat is designed for mothers and daughters to break barriers, build bridges, and strengthen their bond while developing a better relationship with Jesus Christ and creating memories to last forever.
This retreat is being created and developed to strengthen one of the most precious relationships ever, a lasting, fulfilling, and healthful mother and daughter sister-hood. This retreat is designed as we welcome Mothers and Daughters of all ages, race, creed, and color.
Today, girls both young and old are reaching out to have some sort of a relationship with their mothers. Mothers today are face more with challenges than ever before with their daughters and daughters are challenges with so much peer pressures such as drugs, sex, homosexuality, etc. that these negative obstacles are causing dissention between both parent and child. Revelation speaks that in the last days, mothers will be against daughters and some mothers are living this right now.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Sapphire Butterflies is to inspire excellence and empower all inner city youth and teens to feel comfortable and confident not only in themselves but to have influential and positive impacts throughout their lives. The Sapphire Butterflies originated in the hearts and minds of our youth and teens. The idea to build an organization for the inner city/at-risk youth in the community garnered broad based support among Houston’s schools and parents in these communities. The goal of SBO is to promote programs that will be cultural effective to our youth as we as parents and a community address the issues related to bullying, low self-esteem, teen abusiveness, teen pregnancies, and gangs. As art programs are slowly being removed from our schools, our idea is to have a program that will not only inspire our youth to make a positive choice based on facts of what is going on in the society in which will live.
Description
Kids have a natural tendency to play dress-up when young, and as they grow, they take a keen notice of fashion trends and want to imitate them. As kids become preteens, they become focused on appearance as a form of acceptance. Kids are exposed to the popular media culture, and fashion becomes very important at this age. There are many programs to engage your child in developing a fashion sense and in creating fashion and accessories and the year 2014, The Sapphire Butterflies have a program such as that!
Most kids already know what they want to be at a young age. Some have dreams to be firemen, police officers, presidents and princesses. Then, there are those who have a passion for fashion and they dream of becoming designers or models. These dreams don't have to wait until they're older. The Sapphire Butterflies Organization will offer kids' a fashion program whether your son and/or daughter want to explore the inner workings of the fashion business or this program will teach it all.
