The Lace Museum is a small non-profit museum located in Sunnyvale, California. It is all volunteer and all donation supported. The museum is in need of a workshop coordinator to help plan, organize, advertise and supervise all workshops held at the museum. This individual would not be expected to teach the workshops but rather to act as support staff assisting the workshop leader with logistics before and during the workshop. If you are volunteering for class or school/college credit, please let us know in your first email or phone conversation with us.

To preserve the art of lace making, to exhibit lace and its historical use and to offer instruction in all facets of lace making.
Description
The Lace Museum is a small, all-volunteer museum located in Fremont, California. It has permanent and rotating exhibits of lace and lace making tools. Tours are offered for individuals and small groups. The collections are comprised of over 10,000 pieces of lace, lace making tools, ephemera, a library and an archive. Workshops are given both in person and virtually for beginning to experienced lace makers with teachers from around the globe. The museum supports itself through teaching, lecturing, online sales and offsite sales events.
