Mission: Big Apple Greeter's mission is to enhance New York City's worldwide image and enrich the New York experience by connecting visitors with knowledgeable and enthusiastic volunteers. Our goal is to promote New York City as friendly, inviting, and manageable; to bolster tourism and to foster economic development; and to create opportunities for New Yorkers to show pride in their city and give something back to the city.

Activities: Big Apple Greeter is looking for an individual with experience in creating and managing walkathons in New York City. The goal is to develop a feasibility study to determine whether a walkathon is right for us. This person will work under the guidance of the the Executive Director.

Qualifications: This person must already have extensive experience with walkathon planning and management, especially in New York City. He/she must have excellent organizagtional skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well with others and be willing to share his/her knowledge and expertise. Please submit resume.
