During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
Volunteers interview clients and give out bags of groceries. A small amount of paperwork is required in processing and filling out the intake information. Food pantry volunteers also stock shelves with food and prepare food bags. People who find themselves in a position of having no food are grateful to have a place to go to where they can get groceries to last them a few days. We often have messages on our answering machine and notes in the mail from people who are grateful to have received food. Volunteers must attend a volunteer orientation session. Hours vary at the different pantries.

The mission of CROS Ministries is to serve the hungry in Palm Beach and Martin Counties through community collaborations.
The programs of CROS include:
Eight Community Food Pantries, The Caring Kitchen, After School Snack Program, Gleaning Program, and CROS Camp.
The CROS Community Food Pantries provide emergency food to individuals and families in need.
The CROS Caring Kitchen is a hot meal program in Delray Beach which serves a hot lunch Monday - Friday and gives out on Saturday two bagged lunches. We also deliver meals to those who are homebound three days a week.
The After School Snack program provides snacks for After School Programs in Delray Beach for children who receive free and reduced lunch at school.
Through the CROS Gleaning Program, hundreds of thousands of pounds of fresh produce are harvested during the gleaning season (Dec. to July). This fresh produce is then distributed to agencies feeding the hungry.
CROS Summer Day Camp is offered to children from families with low incomes. CROS camp provides a safe and nurturing environment and include STEM classes to keep them from falling behind over the summer.
We'll work with your schedule.
