A caring volunteer interested in helping call and send cards to families that have recently lost a loved one.

Our bereavement program supports families for 13 months following the death of a patient. Volunteers call to check in on families and offer support.

Volunteers may also assist at quarterly bereavement activities.

A majority of the work can be done from the volunteer's own home.

Volunteers interested in helping with any of the above activities can contact the Volunteer Coordinator, Lara Kitchens, at (214) 920-8450 or via email at LKitchens@chot.org.
