SCORE is a national nonprofit organization in the Dayton metro area offering free services for small businesses and nonprofits.
Dayton SCORE conducts monthly workshops at local libraries on business topics. These are done at no charge. The purpose is to educate exisiting small businesses and nonprofit organizations in solving current problems or improving the way they conduct business.
You would conduct workshops using powerpoint slides and other media. Worksheets and other classroom exercises are often used. Co-presenting is used to improve the quality of the workshops. Topics covered include Nonprofit - Strategic Planning, Board development, Fundraising, Marketing, Volunteer Management, Finance and Accounting

SCORE "Counselors of America’s Small Business Owners" is a national association dedicated to helping small business owners form and grow their businesses. The Dayton Chapter of SCORE also supports local nonprofit organizations through a series of six workshops on Fundraising, Planning, Board Development, Marketing, Financial Management, and Volunteer Management. Members also provide face to face client mentoring.
