Training Workshop for Organizations

Use your training skills to help your neighbors start and run nonprofit organizations. COVID has impacted all nonprofits who need to redefine how they operate and obtain funding.

Volunteers are needed would develop and lead online workshops using powerpoint slides and other media. Worksheets and classroom exercises are often used. Co-presenting is used to improve the quality of the workshops. Topics covered include Nonprofit - Strategic Planning, Board development, Fundraising, Marketing, Volunteer Management, Finance and Accounting.

Description

SCORE "Counselors of America’s Small Business Owners" is a national association dedicated to helping small business owners form and grow their businesses. The Dayton Chapter of SCORE also supports local nonprofit organizations through a series of six workshops on Fundraising, Planning, Board Development, Marketing, Financial Management, and Volunteer Management. Members also provide face to face client mentoring.
