Join our Peer Education Program to promote positive body image and prevent eating disorders! We are looking for young men and women (ages 15-25) to join our successful program. You will get a full day training in our approach including body acceptance, intuitive eating and emotional intelligence, then bi-monthly meetings to support your training and knowledge. You will co-facilitate presentations in local schools and community organizations with Beyond Hunger staff throughout the school year.
Beyond Hunger is a grassroots small nonprofit organization serving teens and adults struggling with food, body image, and eating disorders through workshops, ongoing support groups and prevention programs in schools and community centers. Our philosophy is described in the 2 books our co-founders wrote, "It's Not About Food" and "Over It". www.beyondhunger.org
