Como Park Zoo and Conservatory is seeking hundreds of volunteers to help with ZooBoo. It's a non-scary Halloween festival for young children and families. Como Zoo will transform into a world of fairy tales and fun! Non-costumed volunteers will assist with greeting, directing visitors, applying makeup, event set up or tear down, or other related tasks. In addition, more than 200 costumed volunteers will entertain and interact with children of all ages on Oct. 22, 23, 29, & 30. Proceeds from the event benefit two of Minnesota's most treasured year-round attractions, Como Zoo and Marjorie McNeely Conservatory.
Persons who are at least 17 years of age and can volunteer for late afternoon or evening shifts are needed.
Individuals, families and groups are encouraged to volunteer. Pre-registration and event orientation are required. If you can, please volunteer for more than one night!
The application will be on our website September 1st, 2016. To register online visit www.ComoZooConservatory.org/support/volunteer For more information or to request a paper application call the Como Volunteer Services office at
