Land Stewards - Restore and Preserve!

Get your hands dirty and affect a positive change on Open Space lands. Volunteers for the Land Steward's program aid Open Space Authority staff with trail maintenance and construction, habitat restoration, fencing, and cleanup projects. All training is provided. This is a great opportunity for individuals and groups who are interested in volunteering for just one day, or for several projects. Water, lunch, safety gear and tools for the project are provided to volunteers by OSA.

Land Steward projects are the third Saturday of every month, 10am-3pm, but if you'd like a unique and fun team-building experience we can work with your group for a specific date and time.

The next Land Steward event is Saturday June 16th, "Broom-Be-Gone" invasive plant removal at Rancho Canada del Oro in Morgan Hill.

Reply to this listing, or email below, to get on the alert list for upcoming Land Steward opportunties.

Teen volunteers age 14-17 may serve with a parent or legal guardian present.
