VITAS Bereavement Volunteers contact family and loved ones following the death of a VITAS patient. Volunteers may make phone calls, visit, help with mailings or organize support qroups, all with the support and guidance of the VITAS hospice team.

Volunteers are the heart of VITAS Healthcare, providing friendly, non-medical patient and family care and offering support services in the office, using their cars and from their own homes.
