Make a difference and have fun!! The Arc of San Diego is looking for adult volunteers to take small groups of adults and teens with developmental and intellectual disabilities into the community on recreational outings.
Activities can include dances, sporting events, movies, local tourist destinations, fishing, SD Fair, etc. Activities take place during regular recreation hours (primarily Friday evenings, Saturday and Sunday) and last an average of 4 to 8 hours each, depending on the activity. As a volunteer, your entrance to activities is paid by the program.
Contact us for application and interview date & time! All volunteers must pass background check, drug test and physical (we provide). Volunteers must commit to working at least 1 activity every 2-3 months.
Meeting locations at our Program Centers near Downtown San Diego, El Cajon and North County OR you can meet us at the activity.
