Holding someone's hand can make all the difference!

If you enjoy providing companionship to others and consider yourself to be kind and compassionate, Pathways Hospice invites you to volunteer with us to provide emotional support and moments of joy to terminally ill patients in our care.

Our well-trained volunteers work alongside our professional staff and are a vital part of the care and comfort we provide.

Companion volunteers are friendly visitors who provide social interaction to patients who live in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities or private homes. They read aloud or play music for patients, listen with an open heart, accompany patients during facility events, take them outside or simply hold their hand.

Hospice volunteering is a rewarding way to "give back", learn more about end-of-life care and a great way to connect with members of your community.
Training is provided.
