Are you searching for ways to bring more meaning to your life and to others? Consider volunteering with Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care. We are seeking compassionate people to provide companionship and caregiver relief to hospice patients who live in the Downriver community. Patient care volunteers support patients and families the same way a friend would -- by compassionate listening, hand holding, sharing stories and smiles. No hands-on medical care is required. Assignments are always flexible, close to your home and are based on your availability. This is a great opportunity to learn new skills, build relationships and discover the wisdom the elder community holds. Seasons provides comprehensive training to volunteers to prepare them for this new role. In addition, social events and other educational opportunities are held throughout the year. Call today to learn more about supporting others during the most sacred time in their lives. Contact Teri Schmitchen, Volunteer Director at 248-251-6396
