Hospice of Butler and Warren County volunteers are patient-focused and integral members of the Hospice Team. All volunteers are provided training and an opportunity to identify the kind of volunteer contribution they are most comfortable with. There are many ways to volunteer at Hospice. Volunteers are needed to be companionship visitors to patients; veterans for the Veterans Pinning Ceremony, provide administrative support; fundraising/events helper; assist with gardening at patient's home or care center; assist with special projects, events, help with maintenance, and much more.

The RSVP Volunteer Program provides opportunities for individuals 55 and over to make a difference in their community through volunteer service. RSVP volunteers contribute anywhere from a few to over forty hours a week, serving at schools, museums, and other nonprofit and public organizations to help meet critical community needs. RSVP offers maximum flexibility and choice to its volunteers. RSVP matches the personal interests and skills of the volunteer with opportunities to help impact the community. The program offers supplemental insurance while volunteering and training from the agency or organization where volunteers are placed.
