National Council of Jewish Women/Los Angeles continues to provide free clothing and books to women, children and men, just in time for the holiday season. In keeping with our commitment to reach out to and support those who are in need, we will distribute over 75,000 of items of FREE clothing and children's books as part of our mission to improve the lives of families in our community. Our Annual Clothing Giveaway is proudly sponsored with items collected from NCJW/LA's Council Thrift Shops.
Each year, more than 3,000 people, who learn of our Annual Giveaway through local community service agencies, homeless shelters and battered women's facilities, are provided with essentials collected from NCJW/LA's Council Thrift Shops. NCJW/LA and its army of volunteers will be on hand from 8:00am until 12 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2015 and on Sunday, December 4th from 6:45 am-10 am and 9:45 am-1 pm to distribute these essential items to women, men and children as an important part of our commitment to improve the lives of families through our Annual Clothing Giveaway .

Description
NCJW l LA serves more than 12,000 individuals through our Community Mental Health and Supportive Services, Scholarships, Youth Educational Programs and Services, Back 2 School Store, intern training programs and our clothing assistance projects. NCJW l LA social justice programs provide education and legislative advocacy on issues that affect and impact women, children and families in the areas of children's rights, economc justice, healthcare, human trafficking, immigration reform, reproductive justice, LGBTQ+ and gender related violence. All donations to our 8 Council Thrift Shops support the programs and services of NCJW l LA. NCJW l LA is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization (Tax ID #95-1641433)
