Connect with an isolated older adult.

Family Eldercare's Lifetime Connections Without Walls is a telephone program that provides isolated and lonely older adults an opportunity to connect with others in their community and across the country. Our program offers social and educational sessions, support groups, and friendly conversation - all over the phone - all from the comfort of home.

This volunteer opportunity involves facilitating a session with our program. We can either match you up with a session (e.g., BINGO, Brain Aerobics) or if you have an idea for a session, we can work together to plan it.

The time commitment for this opportunity is up to you. We create four program schedules per year (winter, spring, summer, fall). Each quarterly schedule includes about 13 weeks of sessions. Your commitment can range during those 13 weeks depending on how often you'd like to facilitate a session, e.g. weekly, monthly, special series (2-3), one-time only.

This volunteer opportunity is completely virtual and can be done anywhere. All you need is a telephone, computer, and internet connection.
Training and on-going support provided.

Take a look at our website, where you can view our catalog of sessions, for more information: https://www.familyeldercare.org/programs/lifetime-connections-without-walls/.

Thank you so much for considering this opportunity and we hope you'll join us!
