Family Eldercare's Lifetime Connections Without Walls is a telephone-based program that provides isolated and homebound older adults an opportunity to connect, learn, and have fun with others in their community, and across the country. (We have participants located throughout the U.S.) Our program offers social and educational classes, support groups, friendly conversation, and more.
This volunteer opportunity involves facilitating a class within our program. We can either match you up with a class or if you have an idea for a class, please share it with us. We'll work with you to figure out the details and the best format for transforming your idea into a class for our participants.
This volunteer opportunity is completely virtual and can be done at home or work. The time commitment is up to you. Each of our four annual sessions (winter, spring, summer, fall) includes 13 weeks of classes (with breaks for holidays). Your commitment can range during those 13 weeks from facilitating a one-time, weekly, or monthly class. Training and on-ongoing support provided.
Thank you for considering this opportunity and we hope you'll join us!
We'll work with your schedule.
This is a Virtual Opportunity, with no fixed address.
